Veľký Choč is considered to be one of the most beautiful mountains in Slovakia, from which we can admire almost the whole of northern Slovakia. It is possible to get to the top using four marked trails.
The path are open all year round.

Starting point: Valaská Dubová – village square, near the Municipal Office
Route description:
From Valaská Dubová, follow the path toward Stredná Poľana, then continue on to the summit of Veľký Choč.

Veľký Choč is one of the highest peaks in the Choč Mountains.
It’s visible from as far as Štrba and across the entire Lower Orava region.
